Dear Lord,
My Lord, I need your freedom. I need you to be the center of my life and the center of my love. Restore what has been taken from me and what I have given away. Remove my idols. Make my heart an altar purified by your inhabitance. I want right relationship with everything. All under you. All in you. All for you. Orient my heart with submission. Help me love those around me, especially the one my heart holds close, with your sight and your care and your precision. Remove any selfish desire. I repent of my idolatrous heart, my rebellion, and my complacency. I give it over to you again. Insert yourself in this situation. Bring your Spirit which breathes life. In the authority of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
